MCS 0034: Flowtunes, the Danger of Freeing Resources in Desctructors, GitHub and JFrog partnership

Today, I propose the 3 following articles to start your day.

Flowtunes

If, like me, you enjoy listening to music while working, you may enjoy Flowtunes.
This is a really nice app to boost your focus and productivity, as the AI generated music grants you continuous music always renewed.
You can choose the kind of music to be played, customize some nice background noises and you have all you need to a full day, be it for work or just a peaceful day at home.
Personnally, I have been using it this morning for researching and writing this article. This will probably become an habit. 😊

There is also a mobile app.

Freeing resources in destructors

This article from PVS-Studio explains really well why you should be careful about the functions you call from your destructor.
Indeed, calling virtual function can trigger some redundant and inefficient operations, if not bugs.
It is the first time I have seen someone explain it that clearly, with an exemple that you can follow along.

GitHub and JFrog partnership

This news makes me really joyful!
Since I am using the package manager conan which is maintained by JFrog, this means that we can expect some progress in the relation between the services offered by the 2 platforms.
It will probably simplify my day to day work, and that makes me happy 😊

I hope you enjoyed those articles as much as your morning bevrage, and that they gave you some interesting knowledge.
Personnally, I read them while drinking my first cup of coffee of the day ☕

Have a splendid day, and see you in the next Morning Code Sip articles. 😀
